Some teachers really go out of their way to get to know your child and help them to succeed, while others have an "I don't care!" attitude and actually mistreat the children. The principal is not easy to contact and usually does not deal with the problem directly.

This school is at the bottom of the barrel. The administrative staff is incompetent, and fails to protect the children, when in danger. My child was threatened by a teacher and it took months before the school reacted, causing my child to be placed in therapy because of the experience. They lack support to the parents, and only support children, if and when they feel like. They do not get back with a concerned parent, you will have to take charge yourself and continue to contact them. The Winston/Salem Forsyth County School Districts grievance policy is an absolute joke. The superintendent and the assistant superintendent cannot speak for themselves, they will just pass you on to their lawyer, over and over again, until you go away, and stay away. Great school as far as most of the teachers, but if you have any problems, and are forced to deal with Mrs. Smith or Mr. Reid, you will not be taken care, but squished, until gone. Might want to think about where you send your children to school!!!!!!

Teaching staff is pretty good but the front office is not. Principal is a moron and has no idea how to talk to people. Student body is below average. If you can send your child to another school do so.
