I am very pleased to send my children to this school

We are new to the disctrict and my child was welcomed with open arms. The Principal called me to welcome us and introduce herself. The teachers and Principal picks up all of the students from their cars at drop off in the morning with smiles and enthusiasm. The classes are small, the teachers are seasoned and everyone seems to love their jobs. This school runs way more like a private school than a public school. Parent input is requested, and innovations labs teach students to think out of the box. Even at this young age STEM is a major educational push and the district seems to be extremely focused on student needs, offering extra help whenever needed. In a nutshell we love this place...it gives us the warm fuzzies!!! You are going to love it too!!!

It is a good school if you want to compromise. The teachers and parents are immuned to all the flaws including trobuled kids and in appropriate use of language by kids in presence of teachers and parents. The parents have to take responsibility to keep track of progress if not the kid is totally ignored. No strong curriculum, No strong characters , No strong staff. A good school overall, without any shining moments. Good luck.

Academics are weak at this school. There are some fabulous teachers but the great ones have been told to dumb down their curriculum. The principal is mercurial and condescending. Plan to spend a LOT of time working with your child on additional learning activities to keep up with peers in other Monmouth County towns. Very bright children will be bored out of their little minds.
