I had an awful experience with this school. I finally pulled my 1st grader out of school and we had to move to a different town. Principal Scully did not care that I was pulling my son out of school after they failed to offer to sit down with myself as the parent and figure out why my son was struggling in this school. Since I moved t a different school district my son is doing great and his confidence has completely changed. The teachers don’t care about students. They don’t want to put in the time or effort to teach the children. They just place them in front of iPads and expect the children to learn. I am so grateful and happy that I removed front child from this school. He loves going to school now. It is true that the teachers and staff make all the difference in your child’s education and experience.

My son is a first grader. We found that the teachers here would not put any effort in teaching kids at all. Teachers would spend their day on their computers and let students play on their iPad all time. Once or twice in a week, they would scratch the homework for some reason. When they give homework, they give some random unrelated homework where students have no clue how to do it because they have never done anything similar to that at school. Often teachers would inform students to let parents help the homework. we don't have any problem helping homework, but when we ask the students, they have never seen anything similar solved at school. When the progress card is created, there are no written feedback on what to improve or the reason why a grade is announced. You will just see some random numbers being put on the progress report and there is no way to make sense of it on what/how something need to be improved.. I think the teachers are too lazy to teach anything at school and they are taking their pleasure time at school and just warming their chars at school. It is an easy and low paying job, I understand, but you can always do a better job teaching kids. If you are considering this school for your kid, please do a favor to your kid, do not consider this school district.

Lincoln School one final try this year. They have made out my child to either be a trouble maker(in last year) or very "slow" because he gets over the slow pace of the classroom When we took him to a neurologist as per the suggestion of the guidance counselor teacher and principal we found out that there is nothing wrong with my son except that he was getting bullied at school and had no one who would stick up for him. Instead they decided to take advantage of my son being good and honest and always tells the truth the school treated him with punishment and not to those bullies who were passing bad comments about mother and using words which they are not suppose to at this age.I don't know what their parents must be teaching them to these bully kids. and school knowing this fact they punish him when he defended himself from a child that constantly bullies him. They claim to take bullying seriously but seem to always blame the victims instead. I am going to complain this fact to school district too if they are not going to take the proper action on those kids.
