I did 3 of my 4 year high school career in Lakewood High School and I cannot complain. I know Lakewood has a bad reputation, but I absolutely loved Lakewood. There's a lot of stupid drama that may happen but it doesn't interfere with the teachers teaching. I have to say something about the teachers of Lakewood High School, most of the teachers in the Lakewood District are AWESOME. I mean there are the ones that it's time for retirement, but I loved every teacher I had. They may not have all the supplies they need, but they do with what they have and they are awesome with what they do. Only a special person would teach in Lakewood. Someone who has thick skin absolutely and a good sense of humor is a must! I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars because no school is perfect.

I think that lakwood high school is a great school because no one is really racist here. Everyone gets along with whatever group they want to and there really isn't like the in group you know. No popular crew or anything like that so you join what ever group you believe is you. We have them all. Yeah there may be fights and all plus all the Gangs but if you don't get involved with any of that your okay. No ones ever given me a problem. Plus now that we have Ms. Yuli, rules and regulations have really been enforced. So this is my school and I will tell you the truth... I love this school even if it is a little ghetto. I love my teachers because they do care I will always feel like I fit in even if I am a loser jk ;) haha a7x 4life!!

(I am actually a former student of L.H.S.) When I was attending Lakewood High my opinions were very crutial. I thought it was very ghetto, to much drama, and crowded. It wasn't until I had to move far away, that I started to really appreciate what I had. Where I currently attend school it's very segrigated. If you don't find a little click to hang with you might as well be invisible. The teachers don't care if you learn, there more worried about the check they get at the end of the week. Now in Lakewood everyone hangs with everone. There's no discrimination what's so ever. Everone learns not only to get along with many different kinds of ethnicities, but the kids are also blessed with teachers who want them to learn.learn would give anything to be back in L.H.S. =)
