Great school! The teams are great my child has been with her best friend for two years and all the same classes this year! It's great for them. They have a lot of fun events! Fun run needs to go for the kids it's not nessessary. Short shorts they need to calm down about. I understand if it is up your behind but I'm sorry nobody buys shorts to their knees. Overall fun enjoyable school.

I'm a student at SRMS, I love it. I love my English class, history, science and math. The only thing I don't like is the "Fun Run" because of the "track". The track is a field with many hills. I injured my ankle and it hasn't been the same since. But I love this school. The team I was on had a website that had assignments to do, we did 2 a week. It was frustrating, but when our teacher showed us our scores compared to everyone else's in the school and state, oh my gosh. We were so good! It was a real self esteem booster, and it made me think about how smart I am. It's all thanks to Southern. If you are a parent reading this, trust me. Send. Your. Child. Here.

I have had two children pass attend this School and do well but when my youngest attended years 2008-2010 things changed. The Principal seems to do well with the Academics but the serious problem in this School is no Discipline. The Bullying is out of hand and Children are being forced to be Home Schooled. The Principal is completely incompident in her Disciplinary decisions often causing more problems for the well behaved Students. The Board is well aware of her poor decision making skills but continue teo let her run the School. It seems the Girls are worse then he Boys. Be aware if you have a Child in this School their safety is in question, it is only a matter of time before on lashes out and something serious happens.

I am a student at SRMS, and I have to say that this school is amazing. I have only one complaint. The 'Fun Run' is awful. But, overall, SRMS is the best school a student could attend.
