Wemrock Brook School

Teachers try to optimize prep periods and breaks and are not interested in giving students full class time. They don't behave professionally toward other teachers. This principal does not make fair comments to and assessments of the newer teachers, and she is not supportive. I don't get the sense that she cares about anyone but herself. She is all about the politics and not the quality of the teachers. It is unfortunate as this is a nice place to live, but more caring administrators need to be sought out. Sometimes tenure is not a good thing. I have read the reviews where teachers don't care about the students. This is a direct trickle down effect of the Principal, who needs to support and guide teachers better, and keep tenured, longtime teachers in line and motivated. She just does not accomplish this and seems oblivious that not doing so creates tensions between teachers.

I think the teachers at Wemrock Brook are not paying enough attention to the students needs. My granddaughter said her teacher told them they ask too many questions and sshould raise their hands but she is not taking questions at this time. That to me is pretty sad for her students.

MY SON IS IN FIRST GRADE AT WEMROCK BROOK. I FEEL SO DISCONNECTE FROM HIS TEACHER. ANY ATTEMPT TO CONTACT HER AND SHE NEVER EVER GETS BACK TO ME. I CAN HONESTLY SAY SHE HASN'T MADE ME FEEL GOOD . MY SON TELLS ME THAT WHEN HE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND SOMETHING SHE DOESN'T MAKE THEM RAISE THEIR HAND . SO FAR WE ARE NOT PLEASED AT ALL.Oh and one of the calls I made to her was in regard to my son being bullied. So unhAPPY so far.

As part of my Alma Mater, this school does a tremendous job of getting children ready for their experience with Middle School. Great after school activities for the children and great learning experience. One of the best school's in Manalapan NJ.
