I enjoyed phillipsburg high school. The diversity was awesome. The teachers cared. The sports were amazing. I went on to a 4 year school and I got my MBA. I was as prepared or more prepared than most other people I came across.

NOTE: The location has changed. The brand-new building is on the hill top at:1 Stateliner Boulevard, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865This school is top-notch, with excellent resources. The Honors/AP track provides excellent teachers, but all levels seem to be solid. As always, you tend to get out what you put in. Excellent Band program. Excellent support for students with special needs (504s, et Al.)

The school is under staffed for the number of students. Their priority's seemed to be off also.

My daughter has been through the PHS school. Currently, my son is attending. I do believe that the school prepared my daughter academically; however, I disliked that fact that if your son/daughter is not a part of the athletic group of parents, then there is no chance of your child making the team. In addition, it is ashame that the staff of teachers or administration is not diverse. I just recently heard that there is an Hispanic history teacher. It is about time, and I wish him the best. PHS and the city Phillipsburg have made great strides with regards to improving any type of racial tensions or stereotypes. Unfortunately, more improvements are still needed. There are many qualified teachers and administrators of all races. Our students need to be aware of this as well.
