Matthew Jago Elementary School is easily the best elementary school in the Woodbridge school district. It has the best teachers and the best environment for early learning education.

I really love this school. The teachers and staff are very helpful. I love the fact that the PTA, the principal and all the parents get together to make this school what it is today. Everyone makes sure that no child is left behind. All of the functions that the school offers to get the parents involved WORKS. I don't see a reason why a parents cannot attend at least one function. The school provides alot of opportunities for parents to come into the school and help. If you have the time and are willing to witness the family style staff that this school offers, then take advantage of it. I did and I am glad I was able to become the class parent for my daughter. The only downfall that I had with the school is that Kindergarden was only half days (all Woodbridge areas) other than that- I don't have a problem with the school. They are on top of everything.

This has been a great school, and an excellent exerience for my 8 year old son. He started Matthew Jago in kindergarten, and has just completed 2nd grade. His time at this school has been wonderful. The curriculum is certainly up to par with the top schools in the state. The teachers are passionate, caring and very much involved in the children's lives, both in and out of school. The parents are very active in school functions and activities, and have been almost like a second family to me and my son. Also, my son made a lot of great friends in the past few years at this school. I would highly recommend this school to any parent looking to give their child an excellent education and school experience.

The school is above average, with caring teachers for the most part, and especially good for children withh disabilities. However, as for most schools in the 'no child left behind' program, more needs to be done for children with above average abilities. Let's not leave them behind, either.
