Very good teachers. A wide variety of clubs and activities, and teaches the importance of learning and going to college.

As a former student of this high school , they have great general education courses and clubs to keep a student occupied , but if you have a gifted child who has some sort of mental/learning disability then this school is not for you due to the fact that they do not know his or her learning potential and thus will hinder your child's success . If a child with said disability Does not feel challenged by his or her special ed classes and want to move into an advanced course with help , he or she will not only be denied the education he or she needs to succeed but will told that they cannot do this said class because of this disability and thus shows on alot of students in special needs classes through low self esteem due to this issue . Also, if the special needs student and/or parents disagrees with theirs practices they will make you a target and the parent and student will go through challenges during his or her school career. Overall , the general education portion is not bad however, they need to drastically improve there special need program to aid in student success.

Good school as far as choices for sports and clubs, and the availability of teachers to provide extra help to students before and after school. However, there is an apparent lack of attempts on the part of the school to forge good relationships with parents who are new to the town and/or minorities. Another downside is the school's touch disciplinary tactics which are unfairly harsh at times. My kids also complain about poor school spirit. And the school could do more to prepare students for college, i.e. field trips to colleges and universities.
