Horrible school. Drugs and bullying are rampant, and staff does nothing to help the situation. Don't send your children here.
My daughter hates it and lots of bullying and not many nice kids if any. One year left, hope it changes, and they will be on their third Principal this year.
This school is by far the worst place to send your child to. They take advantage of students and bully the parents. They act as if they are the "Absolute Authority "and dictate to parents how things are going to go, or else! They love to threaten parents that are trying to explore all possibilities and options for their child with DYFSS if they do not comply with their demands for your child. They will bully and blame parents for anything they can find about their history in order to guilt you into allowing "their will" on your child. I have never encountered such a low level of professionalism in any other school and in any other state I have resided in. The child study team and guidance counselors are the worst example of a support system, you will ever encounter. Do not send your child here, find any other option available!
Had to pull my child out due to constant harassing by children and vice principathe white children are given preference and allowed to bully and dress as they please. Let a native american or spanish child wear a metal tshirt to school and they get in trouble. While white girls are wearing clothes that show more flesh than a street walker. The vice principal also made my child feel intimidated to the point where she had depression. She told my child gay life was a disgrace since my child hung out with a gay child. I homeschooled and proud to say my child had been accepted to college at the age of 15 just on SAT scores. So much for a good education at that horrid place. The teachers are all terrified of upper management and will say anything to keep from being blacklisted. Something has to be done.
