I recently visited and helped out in a first grade class room. I was very impressed with the teacher. He was able to maintain control of the class and still have fun with the students while educating them. I got to see how the other 1st grade teachers all look after the students and work as a team. The teachers and students were very polite and the atmosphere was very friendly. The murals and decorations of children's art work decorated the hallways. Everyone I met was helpful and kind, from the office staff to the Vice Principle and Principle to the Janitors and the teachers.

My kids have gone to this school for several years, my daughter did ok here with Mrs.Shepard, who was probably the best teacher this school has ever seen (she is all about education and plans on attending Harvard so she works very hard all the time) My son who is not so intent on his education is having a hard time and the teachers are horrible!! not one time this year has he gotten a " good job" or even a smile on his work!! His teacher makes him feel like a terrible student/person. She is very rude and curt about everything. We had a problem with a bully and after reporting it to teachers and principal nothing was done, I finally told my son he could fight back to protect himself. My sister also had several problems with her kids here and moved just to get them out of this school, I am doing the same soon!
