This school needs to seriously review how they handle bullied children.

School has gone downhill over the last few years. ADMIN is out to lunch. Only someone with a couple kids would notice the difference, otherwise you'd do your 3 years and get the heck out. It's bad. I would avoid it if at all possible. They made every possible cut to this school but they had (past tense), the dress code and Fertitta 15, so that was nice. But that is gone too. They don't enforce the dress code and the bullying is out of control. There is no supervision in the hallways, before/after school, these kids are UNSUPERVISED and UNSAFE and it's just a matter of time before something happens. Fights in halls every single day over nonsense. Kids are not in good environment and with a few small changes, subtle changes, they could make a difference for these kids and they just don't. There's no librarian, school patrol is never there, yet there's the admin cars getting detailed in THE CAR POOL LANE DURING drop off. Parents notice this stuff because it's getting that bad. We're late to work because you guys are not helping us drop off our kids. Help us help them.

We're new to this school and city. So far I'm not really impressed. I do, however, have a significant problem with the rule that if a child lives less than two miles from the school no transportation is provided. This is a huge problem for working parents especially given that school doesn't even start until 9 o'clock and doors are not opened until 8:30. Unless you live or work in the immediate area safety is a big concern and the problem of the family. This is not cool.
