Longwood Middle School

in the beginning I was afraid because I heard all this bad comments from friends and people but now I have a different opinion about the district. they have so many programs for kids, they encourage sports, music and arts. also have after school programs for tutoring (helping with homework) coding or just having fun with PE teachers. they show they care about the students and teaches us it doesn't matter how different you are.

They have many Programs to get kids involved. The PTA is super supportive in creating a school spirit through the many activities they set up. I am enjoying the changes from elementary to middle school. Great school!

class sizes are much to large children are not receiving more help where needed many teachers are not competent

I spent some time here as a parent/visitor. I witnessed constant screaming at the students in an "open" environment that is obviously not working . I recall being a visitor here , and on of the ever so charming teachers told me I could not sit there because her "friend" sits there. Very unprofessional, horribly dressed staff. Check out the state test scores. They are horrifying.
