Our son transferred here from a local Catholic high school, and we found Hen Hud to be vastly superior. We were impressed with the variety of course offerings, and the teachers seemed genuinely interested in seeing the students succeed. The administration also was helpful. There's more socio-economic diversity here than in some of the ritzier Westchester school districts, but I consider that a plus. We were very pleased overall.

Students at this school are well-prepared for college. There is a great focus on students with special needs, advanced placement, music and art, sports and building a great sense of community through diversity.

We moved here from another state with very highly rated schools. Hen Hud easily eclipses our old school. The AP and honors offerings are numerous, the teachers push kids to become better students, and my son's writing has improved dramatically in Honors English. If you take honors/AP courses, the homework can be a lot, but my son has managed to find a balance that allows him to be successful in school and still participate in sports and other outside activities. We feel like he is being well prepared for college. The kids have been welcoming, and the teachers and guidance are helpful and very good at what they do. We love Hen Hud!

My son had gotten scholarships to two local catholic high schools but choose to attend Hen Hud because of its extensive offerings of AP and Honors classes. He loves all his teachers and most of them are very passionate about what they teach. It is also one of the few schools in the area to offer an engineering program and a biomedics program. The principal has always been very responsive. School spirit is very high which is nice. Yes there are those few kids who do not care about school but you will find that in any public school. So far he is very happy with his decision to go to Hen Hud.
