Henry Barnard School

This is a wonderful school. Our daughter absolutely looks forward to going to school every day. We’ve appreciated the ease of communicating with classroom teachers and their responsiveness. The teachers are exceptional, kind hearted and loving. Diversity in the school is great and the staff really encourages everyones individuality. They’ve really managed to make it feel like “home” from before you step in to the building and until it’s time to leave. Thank you all for creating such a caring environment! I wish the school went up to 5th grade.

My daughter has been at Barnard since she was in Pre-K. Ms. Coronius knew how to teach to the different levels in her classroom. For kindergarden she had Ms. Jimenez. What a gem! Great communicator, addressed all levels in her classroom. My daughter is currently in 1st grade and I can honestly say it has been a huge waste of time for her. She has had to deal with bullying and is bored. The teacher does not communicate with parents, the school does not have shows (holiday), special occasions. I am considering St. Paul or other private schools for 2nd grade.

Awesome school, I just wish it was at least up to 5th grade. Teachers are very supportive to students.
