Nyack Senior High School

Great schools, great diversity and a strong community

My daughter is enrolled in Nyack High School and she loves it. The teachers are great , the principal is so involved with everything going on. Its refreshing to see. School is what your kid makes it. I have seen that not enough people post positive ratings on things, but quick to post negative , so I hope this helps. Love the district.

My son graduated in 2010 and my daughter graduates this year. We have been very happy with the whole experience. They have both done super well academically and socially. It's a relatively small high school experience and everyone is together from middle school through high school. There are plenty of honors and AP classes and opportunities. I think if you are involved and don't expect the schools to raise your kids this is a really good school district. I've met teachers from other neighboring districts that say they think Nyack is better in spite on "ratings". Go see the schools and get involved!

I not only love NHS, I love the school system. Why? The teachers have always been very responsive to my son and me. When I have a concern, qustions or need assistance, there's always a rapid response.
