Fantastic school! The teachers are dedicated to getting the best out of the students. Also the school is small enough to allow for many different opportunities for the students.
I would rate this school very high. Our students consistently get into great colleges. With only about 120 kids in a graduating class over the last few years we have had many students going to Princeton, Stanford,Yale, Brown, Duke, Cornell, Dartmouth. Most of the private schools in the area don't have results like this. The school has always been very well connected to top institutions. We have small classes and sometimes AP classes with only a few students. We have AP classes with sometimes only 6 students in a class, because the district believes that the students should have many choices and are willing to run classes with small enrollment. We have all the resources students need. Our lower schools foster learning in such loving environments. Having gone through all of these schools, my children would not have had the success they have had without this school. All my children were able to be on sports teams, because the school is so small they need everyone to participate. Our theater program is second to none, with wonderful performances in the high school but also in the lower schools. This district is a well kept secret. Love it!
Oyster Bay High School is a very good school. The class sizes are small which provides students a great opportunity to participate and learn. Academically, the course work could be more demanding to better prepare students for college.
Great school!! Large enough to offer diversity and challenging programs. Small enough for individuals to get to know everyone on a first name basis.
