Woodward Parkway Elementary School

My kids currently go to this school. One is in her last year (5th grade) and my youngest is in the 1st grade. This is by far the best school. It is because of the close knit community feel, both of my kids do excellent in their studies. This school should have a better rating than 8 though. It is excellent all around, especially with the music program. My 5th grader plays the alto saxophone in band and truly loves it. The music theory she has learned over the years has been proven to us as being excellent since she can not only sing well, she can play the recorder, saxophone, piano, drums and guitar. Wonderful school. Wonderful staff.

Wonderful school. Our kids love it! Such a family oriented environment and kids excel from that comfort.

wwp is a great school. as for pushing kids to hard, well in todays world maybe you don't want the best for your kids . because I want my kids to be push hard .. learning is the most important part of school and if that means hard work so be it... maybe you need to go back to school, the real world isn't going to hand your kid a good job with a low education, so wwp .. teachers and staff push those kids, todays world they need it.. not just a pass by the skin of there teeth.....

I love this school. My daughter graduated from college 2 years ago, and she went to all Farmingdales schools. Graduated with honors. My son is in Woodward now, and is excellent. Every parent and teacher cares about the students. Special Ed and Sports are great. Love it, Love it.
