My children both graduated from NRHS...they received a well-rounded education and have been successful in college.

The community of sports and after school clubs are amazing and filled with hearts of genuine people, lead by staff that cares over and beyond that the students have for that activity. As a former student and now parent....faces and politics may have changed but the sense of community and passion in these kids still seems to be the same as 20+ years

I just graduated this past June, and I miss North Rockland dearly. Although some many argue and say it's a sports oriented school, it's not true at all, there's about 20+ clubs provided. Our school officials even give you an opportunity to create your own club if felt necessary. Over all it's the diversity experience that's helped me transition into college so well. Teachers don't only care about passing you, rather yet assure that everyone understands material. Free after school tutoring is always available. its a great over all environment and I wish I could do high school all over again

I am a student here and i don't like the school at all. I feel that the school focuses a lot on sports. more then any of the other electives. the teachers that i have don't really teach there are a few that have a passion for it but mostly they just put on videos of other people teaching. There are defiantly favorites. The school has a tight budget. i really don't like the school. but thats my opinion. but if you like sports this is the school to go to.
