Westlake High School

Westlake high school, excellent teachers. Both our sons were accepted to all the colleges they applied to and were offered several scholarships. Also a good music and theatre dept. Sports are improving but the teachers get to coach first and are never replaced in spite of their poor records.

I took my daughter out of the Ursuline School, where she was "journaling", not learning to write and watching movies like Romeo and Juliet in Biology class. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the honors and AP courses. She finally learned to use an outline. They used the Teaching Basic Writing skills in the elementary school which was fabulous but at least writing was taught in the high school. The teachers are great and held to a high standard.
