Beaver Falls Area Senior High School

I grew up in this school coming from other schools in the are and in comparison to (central valley and new Brighton) I find that Beaver Falls is a school district that thrives on passion. And being that most students are not well off, those who aren't are not as likely to get picked on. It is highly diverse community and the student body reflects that. Students treat one another with respect and occasionally there are disruptions but the teachers do well to keep the students on track and motivated. It is a rich atmosphere that does well to grow student achievement, scaffolding past learning to new and creating a great curriculum that students can enjoy. They work hard on PSSA scores and keep students in check with tools to help them thrive. They also have rich and highly successful sports teams. Their extracurricular programs are great and teachers are very involved.
