I love this school district. I had two older children attend elite school and both are doing well. I have a student currently enrolled and she has a lot of options ahead of her. If this district would hire a better superintendent the sky would be the limit.

Having sent one child all the way through this school and with two additional students currently attending, I have been very pleased with the instructional rigor, class offerings, innovative projects, and wide extracurriculars, particularly in the music and drama departments. All of my children also participated in athletics for the school, and we had positive experiences with coaching as well. I'm very pleased with the education they've each received across the board.

As far as the high school is concerned, it is an embarrassment, especially compared to neighboring top-notch public schools like Upper Saint Clair and Mount Lebanon. The school district does not give students opportunities to succeed, and only a few of the teachers truly care about the students. It is an excellent building with terrible leadership.

Excellent school district! Fantastic schools with caring, superb teachers. Great tradition of ports programs with wide variety starting from youth programs through varsity. Wide range of extracurricular activities. A proud community with friendly, diverse people. Many spread-out parks and ballfields. Does not seem to have near the amount of arrogant, materialistic parents and therefore students encountered in several of the nearby communities including Upper St. Clair, Mt. Lebo and now Peters Twp.
