Forest Grove El School

this school is terrible. they do not help the kids with learning. I have had munberous problems with the teacher and the principal. My child got hit by another child and they only left me a message. they didn't brother to call me at work, which they have the number. No one wants to get back to you whether it is via email or phone.

Forest Grove/Montour school district is terrible. There are no grades. We were told by the teachers that everyone gets the same marks! There is nothing that motivates our children to do better. My children used to go to Burkett, but this year the district changed the schools around. While I was upset, I decided it would be fine, then I went to orientation....The principal was the most unorganized man, did not explain anything to new parents, told us to "look around" on our own. For those not familiar with the school, it was ridiculous. Every time I think I am overreacting to the situation, something else happens. Today is the final straw. The principal was "moved" and a new principal brought in. The parents were not informed! My kids came home 2 days in a row telling me there was a new principal. I thought they were confused since I received no email or letter. Come to find out, they were right and the only reason they new was because another student had told them. Complete lack of leadership in this entire district! Just Google it and you'll see the many legal issues, crooked school board members and superintendent. We are moving this summer.

We have a very bad experience with Forest Grove and the Montour school district all together.
