Rowan El School

I love Rowan Elementary. It truly is a community school with teachers and administrators who care. The educational foundation built within these walls made all the difference as my children have grown and moved through the District. I have experience with the special education department in this building as well, and I couldn't be happier. As someone with experience in other schools, I couldn't recommend them enough.

I have had two children attend and SUCCEED at Rowan Elementary to a high degree. The teachers work hard and have a good balance of strong academics and extracurricular activities. My son struggled for a while in class, MR. M ,the PE teacher, spent much time with him and made him feel successful and valuable. The classroom teachers did a great job of preparing him for the demands of a progressive school and the outcome was terrific. The PE teacher had so many wonderful family events and strived to make each child feel important and cared about. His events were well planned and supplemented learning for the entire family. He is very dedicated as are the teachers of this great building.

I am very pleased with my child's experiences at Rowan Elementary. The new anti bullying program is particularly innovative. The principal is very hands on and the teachers are very educated.
