I love the school. The students and teachers include you and help you grow! I am glad this is my alma mater.

National Honor Society selection is a joke! It is truly amazing that a student consistently ranked in the top 3-7 of his class every year since elementary school, who took all honors and AP classes, lettered in 3 varsity sports, put forth numerous hours outside of school to become one of the schools record makers in the sport of golf, who worked two part-time jobs, who volunteered as a youth basketball and golf coach in his community, helped in his parish and local firehouse, who has never had a single detention, and rarely missed school, all the while, and obviously, maintaining well over a 4.0 average, WAS NOT given the honor to wear those cords on graduation night! The reason?--Because he was not part of any club and therefore was not considered to be well-rounded. REALLY??? What kind of explanation is that? So, each and every student given this honor played a sport, and were not just in clubs or band? ---Go forth and learn from your own unfair/bias decisions! This has not been the first time you proved to be a disappointment. WASD will always be "Below Average" in my book. What is your state ranking? 459? There is a reason for that!

I wouldn't want my kids to attend any other school. The staff is caring, class sizes are small and the administration goes above and beyond to make sure everyone will be successful. The sports teams are only average, but even average athletes will have a chance to play.

I have had one daughter graduate from WHS and she is currently a sophomore at an excellent university. I have also a son and daughter currently attending Wilson high. I have always loved the atmosphere and the education provided by the outstanding and caring teachers. WHS has been part of my family for many many years as my grandfather was head of the English department, my father graduated from Wilson and so did I. I wouldn't want my children attending any other schools in this area.
