I love this school. I hate the fact that he has to go to a different one for the year. I hate boundaries for school they don't work nothing out each class has at least 30 students in a class since they closed 3 schools down this school district needs to do something to lower the students in a class. What happen to the 96 million they got 3 years ago what a waste nothing got better got worst. Fix our system. I hope the parents get more involved this year last year was the worst.

My son was bullied k-6th grade it was so bad we had to move. The school did nothing about it!! Find a better school.

Initially, I was upset that I had to send my oldest, a kindergartener, this year to Jefferson. My son is a very bright kid who loves to engage in "class clown" antics, and I worried that he would not be given enough individualized attention and that his teacher would not realize how bright he really is. I have to say that I have been pleasantly surprised. His teacher, Mrs. Lester, has been great, and really understands the best way to teach a child like him. The students are great, overall they seem to be well socialized and disciplined at school and at home. Every single time I have had to come into the school, students run to open the door for me. I am greeted with a smile and a "Hello" from everyone there. Respect is a core value at Jefferson, and as a parent, it's great to know these values are reinforced at school. There is much diversity and tolerance. My son learns something new every day, and I am happy with the cirriculum. I think Jefferson is a great school, whose focus is on building intellect and reinforcing social learning.
