Fairfield school district is a terrible school! The administration is worthless! The high school principal is way out of his league and the superintendent doesn't seem to care. So many children are bullied and nothing is done about it. I pulled my daughter out 1/2 way through her senior year b/c of bullying and the school didn't bother to call and find out why she hadn't been in school for 2 weeks. Finally I called them and told them she was going to homeschool for the remainder of the year. They couldn't have cared less that she left because another student came into her classroom, during class with a teacher present, and was threatened. That was the final straw to the 4 years that my daughter had to deal with being bullied by the same person. Nothing was done to the student for her behavior and the school was made aware several times. If you want a safe environment for your child, DO NOT SEND THEM TO FAIRFIELD PA SCHOOLS!!!!!!!!! My suggested to improve the school is to evaluate the administration and make changes accordingly, we need more qualified, experienced administrators and teachers.

I attended Fairfield K-12. I have nothing negative to say about this school. I had wonderful opportunities, great teachers that were fair across the board. I had homework every night, and kept my grades up to play sports. They have a wonderful tech. prep program that was very educational! I loved the small school atmosphere.

My children have went to this school since kindergarten and if I had it to do over again, would choose somewhere else. The administration does not seem to care about anything but making sure students do well on the assessment tests that determine how much money the school gets from the state. My children have not been very prepared to take SAT/ACT test, even though they are honors students. There are zero AP classes and the grading scale starts at 92 to get an A, while other schools are 90. Being from such a small school the students are already at a disadvantage for college entry/scholarships, so why make the grade scale harder? And if your child wants to be involved in sports and be at all competitive, STAY AWAY! Fairfield has to play many schools that are so much larger they will almost never win at anything. After going here my kids says they want their kids to go to a private school or anywhere but Fairfield!

My daughter has been going to FASD since kindergarden. She will be a junior this year. They have plenty of activities for the kids to become a part of if they want to be involved. She has always been involved in multiple activities, sometimes I think maybe too many. I told her she must keep her grades up or drop an activities. She has maintained honors throughout. I haven't been to any conferences since she has been middle/high school because I didn't feel the need. Had she been having any issues, I would have been there right away. There were 2 issues when she was in elementary school that were addressed as soon as I went to the school. No problems since.
