Freedom isn't the greatest school, but it's a decent school to go to. The school is pretty small with about 400+ students in the entire school. There is a vast majority of extracurricular activities, but the same cannot be said about the class options. The school's block scheduling that is currently implemented is very easy to follow and helps students stay less stressed, but the school board is currently in debate on whether they should keep the block scheduling or change it to a regular 9-period schedule. If they change it to a 9-period schedule, it will be disastrous.

I am curently a senior at Freedom and I absolutely love gong to school there. The school is a very reasonable size, I have about 150 kids in my graduating class, the sports are pretty good, there are about 3 teams every year that win section titles, and the academics are excellent! At Freedom every student gets a laptop assigned to them that they can use in class, take home, and do and save homework on. There are honors-level courses in every subject, including AP classes and College-in-High School, this is where a college class is taught by your high school teacher as a normal class but you get college credits through the Community College of Beaver County. I personally have taken honors classes and a also four College-in-High School classes giving me 12 college credits with my graduation of high school. At Freedom there are many clubs and activities to be involved in such as Word Affairs Club, Ski Club, Pep Club, the Big Red Marching Band-who (with a quarter of the student body) always puts-on an amazing half-time show, Rifle Club, DECA-who always has multiple state competition qualifiers every year, and Drama Club-who wins numerous Mancini Awards and will never disappoint you.
