My school is outstanding. As I have seen thru the 53 years in existence many classmates young and old have gone through the halls learning and growing with knowledge and friendships everlasting .Everyone knows everyone including teachers as they come and go on their journeys. Many have become professional and successful in their lives. We were not numbers but people challenging each other scholastically and athletics are a part of our growing. It always remains on how you use the education you gained not what you learned. Many scholars go no where if they do not use their knowledge proficiently. I have spoken to classmates who graduated before me and after me and know we are proud of our Alma Mater and glad we grew up at a fun place with great memories. We all grew up together and assisted each other in learning how to succeed in school .We had high spirits and lots of challenges in building Western Beaver to what it is today. Being a new High School gave us the ability to rise above all others as a highly spirited High School without a lot of sports.

Its a nice school...the teachers are nice for the most part. the problems are drugs, alcohol, sex temptation, and bullies. PSSA test scores are high on average and grades on report cards are normally great. A lot of people chew during school and every once in a while show up with a hang over. The principal and the vice principal are nice and great school leaders. While there are bad influences and bullies, there are also a bunch of nice, great people. Lunches aren't that bad either.

I recently graduated from Western Beaver High and would recommend my alma mater to any parents searching for a great school district. I was never pressured with drugs or violence and i feel growing up in western beaver made me the role model i feel i am today. GO Beavers!

My children have graduated from Western Beaver within the last few years and have been accepted and attend universities with rigorous programs. They learned more than just the academics from the staff at Western Beaver. They learned to take pride in their work, reach for higher goals, and were challenged to go beyond the basics. Even though the offering of AP and other higher level courses was limited due to size of the school, my children obviously received an education which prepared them for success in higher education and the job market.
