This school is great. It has the necessary technology for education and all the teachers challenge us and help us learn better.

My two daughters are recent graduates of Unionville HS. Both believe that the school made them ready for the challenges college students face.

I attended UHS from my sophomore through to my senior graduating class of 2015 and can confirm that Unionville High School is one of the best schools, and not just for education. The education system of the school itself is fantastic. The majority of the teachers really took the time to work with a student and learn about their strengths and weaknesses to help them better understand and perform in classes. They were patient and taught well, as all the teachers I ever took classes with were knowledgeable and passionate about their subject. The teachers couldn't have been better. Now, the students themselves were interesting. Everyone was somewhat of a big family even though I hate that concept and word when teachers and admin throw it around to make a school more welcoming. However, everyone knew everyone somehow and some way. To me personally, coming from Europe, that was a different concept but, the students I had befriended were very nice, caring and would always make sure you were in a positive mind set. But, even with great schools there can be disadvantages, one being that Unionville is a more expensive area, meaning some students feel more entitled and better than others. Don't worry... most are not like this. At the end of the day, It's one of the very few schools I would recommend any parent to send their child to. Even the UCFSD school districts elementary and middle schools are outstanding as my brother attended both the elementary and middle schools and loved his experience at both. Couldn't recommend this school enough.

UHS is a very good school in large part due to the commitment of the students and their families to education. There are many excellent teachers and a few outstanding ones. This school could be one of the top in the country if the administration would care as much about the students and staff as they do about keeping their jobs. The principal is a lightweight and the superintendent is related to Mickey Mouse. There are a lot of rich people here and they get whatever they want because the parents make a stink about things. All of the kids get into good colleges but not many go to top tier universities. We would do much better if the teachers would prepare students for AP exams and SATs instead of Keystones.
