The anti-bullying program makes everyone's life worse as you can't speak without aids eavesdropping and interrupting you. People threaten to report you to the SST(Student Support Team) even though you did nothing. Teachers censor everything and differences in opinion from the socialist teaching is heavily censored and they will treat you as if you have metal illness if you dislike socialism

This school is the reason why I hate education in general. It's completely ruined everything for me. I suffer from some mood disorders, but, of course, I'm treated as a child who is lazy and defiant. They have a program called the SST designed to meet children's needs if they are struggling, which is a complete joke. The time I was in that in my 6th grade year, they failed to do anything. I was still depressed, being bullied, and nothing was done. The teachers are complete maniacs. There's only a handful that are nice and actually care about your well-being. Other than that, they are incredibly mentally abusive. I am thankful that I am currently in my 8th grade year and will be leaving this district in general, and I hope to never hear or see of this prison ever again.

There are very few good teachers in this school who have the patience and understanding needed to help educate kids with special needs. It's very obvious that some of them do not even read the child's IEP. My child's self esteem plummeted and I had many arguments with the administration about how some of the mainstreamed staff dealt with my child. My child was treated like a bad, and lazy kid. In return, my child became very depressed, hated school. Not until moving into a new district, did I realize how poorly PALMS handled my childs situation. My child has made a complete turn around since leaving, a totally different kid. I DO however, need to say, that they have the best History teacher I have ever known. My child has grown to excel in history because of this teachers positive influence. There's not many like Mr. V.
