I must say that 3 yrs ago when my daughter started attending this school I was constantly concern about safety, teaching strategies, communication with staff, and almost every aspect necessary for a school...however, I am very pleased to see that despite of their VERY LIMITED funds, I have seen improvements since 2014 up until now. Even the new principal seems to be doing exceptionally. Understand this school is in the midst of our lowest income area of the city but it gives peace of mind to see their efforts to improve despite their limitations. My daughter loves this school and the staff are dedicated to help. Teachers volunteer often and even cover out of their own pockets for field trips for the children. That's something you wont find in other schools.

Theres only one teacher is this school that's worth acknowledging Mr Corgan. All the others principal included are the worst educators I've ever seen. They don't care about your child especially if they have a learning disability or behavior problem. My son attended this school from k-4 grade. He was diagnosed with oppositional defiant disorder,bi polar disorder and adhd. The school did nothing to help him when I requested a special education exam for him I was told he wasn't eligible only to find out once we finally moved out of the district that they never even started the process. There way of dealing with my son was putting him in a room unsupervised and giving him a book to read for three hours a day. After meetings with the superintendent of the district things still stayed the same within the school. I had to take him out and home school him until we moved out of the district. The principal even told me in front of my son that she didn't like him and she wasn't going to to deal with him because she didn't have to. We moved and sold our homes to get our kids out of this school because once my two youngest children made it to school they were treated bad.
