My daughter enjoys honors classes at Truman, positive interactions with staff and students and numerous extra-curricular activities! We are looking forward to our daughter enrolling in AP courses that are offered at Truman High School! #TrumanTigerPride

I think this school is very good. The principal and staff are very nice and understanding and want to see the best for you. This is my 3rd high school, coming from a catholic school, this is the best school i have ever went to. I came here not knowing anybody in the middle of the year and didnt want to be here at all, but they were very accepting and really made me love the school. I strongly recommend this school!!

I am a substitute and I absolutely love this school more than any other that I sub at. The kids are polite, respectful and kind, and the teachers are wonderful, kind, and caring. I witnessed today the no nonsense approach the principal takes to any kind of bullying, or insubordination. It was dealt with appropriately and swiftly. So many places I sub at just can't come any where near the kind of expectations, respect, and care shown at this school. Schools like this one are near extinction. Most schools nowadays are NOT the way you and I probably remember it. Kids were there to learn, and they respected their teachers. And, teachers were professional and knowledgeable. You're lucky if you live in this district to have such a great school, and the fact that it's public is even more amazing. Kudos to the parents of these kids, the staff, administrators, and the students. You are all doing an outstanding job.
