We could not be more pleased with our experience with Penncrest and Rose Tree Media School District. Penncrest is a great school! Not too large to feel a great sense of community but not too small to have access to so many great sports, interests and clubs. Their teachers truly care about the students both academically and on a personal level too.

Penncrest is a great school but is mostly based on academics and college which isn't a bad thing it just a lot of pressure on a student. And the music teachers are definitely great (except for a certain band teacher) but the choir teachers position was cut this year and she moved to the middle school. Although I love Penncrest it is all about academics and doesn't even consider what we actually want to do after High school I really don't know how knowing how to graph a equation is going to help me with my acting but who knows right.

I am a graduate of Penncrest High School. This school is focused on test scores and grades, but it does offer a range of valuable extracurricular activities. The AP programs are excellent and when I attendend the arts program was beyond compare. However, for a troubled, or unmotivated, student, one can easily fall to the wayside. The guidence department was focused on college bound, graduating students, not fostering those who may need extra attention to make it through each year of high school. These conditions may have changed since I was a student.

Excellent academics but lacks the values and respect found in a Catholic school. Special education are okay - thus the only reason my child attend there versus the local Catholic high school. Great for the average or above-average learner who does not value a religious education. Even with a strong religious upbringing and continued religious teachings at home, there is a difference in my child's religious values vs. my children who attend Catholic school. I also see the difference with the friends and parents. Many do not even know the parents or care when they drop them at your home. No community. But great academically/
