I’m a parent but my children have benefited so much by going to this school. I feel like they feel supported & encouraged to do their best. I’m so happy with this school & I wouldn’t want my kids going anywhere else til high school!!!

Overall I have a had an average experience at PAS. The teachers are good at what they do and are mostly supportive. However an issue with the school is with the new principal small incidents that can be solved among the students are blown up and out of proportion when there's worse stuff going on (like bullying) and nobody seems to care.

I would rate my experience at Penn Alexander, a one to remember. All throughout my years at Penn Alexander, the teachers have been very supportive but the kids are the issue!! There is constant bullying at this school and the new principle has failed to put a stop to it, it is almost like he doesn’t care and that it is not one of his main priorities to take care of this.

Teachers are wonderful and try very hard to make do with what they have. The principal, S. Sydnor, is very old school. She has actually told me she believes that not hearing from a teacher is a sign that everything is ok and could not comprehend why I would want more communication from my child's teacher. For such a progressive school partnering with UPenn, I honestly don't understand how such a leader is in place.
