I had the pleasure of volunteering at this school at the start of the 2013-2014 school year and I was impressed! The staff, children and parents were all very warm and welcoming. There is a new principal at the school who is very dedicated to the kids and the neighborhood. With the help of parents and the community I think we will continue to see great things happening at Southwark!

Southwark Elementary School in Philadelphia, PA. A gem of a school, with amazing kids and families, a community standing behind it, and in need of a playground, funding for more translation services, and funding/resources for out of school time activities to make it excellent.
