One of the 3rd grade teachers doesn't allow the children to go to the bathroom during an emergency. The child was told no; and ended up urinating in her seat. Another child in her classroom gets straight A's and has never had any disciplinary issues in her 4 yrs of schooling. However, this teacher has placed the honor student who is 7 yr old on the up against the wall the entire duration for recess, due to a homework misunderstanding. This teacher proudly admits that her students can't have recess if they didn't understand their assigment. She is a disgrace! Children sit for over 7 hrs in class, standing against a wall does not teach them anything. It is very sad that a good student is penalized for a non intended mistake. This teacher also gave this good student a hard time about going to the nurse, and would not allow it when the child said she had a bad stomach ach.

I love Grace Park. I have a son in high school who graduated from here. They were & are over the top.. He has special needs & they did everything to support him. I also have a 5 th grader & a kindergartner. My 5 the grader has medical issue & they never seem to surprise me with the help they are willing to provide. 100% the top school in my book. Smaller school which means teachers can do more 1 on one .. I have recommend GP to multiple ppl in the district

I find this school to be a lovely school! The teachers and staff are extremely dedicated and well educated! The teachers are very caring of their students and their students progress, especially the Special Education teachers! Nothing but praise for this elementary school :-)

I have had nothing but problem after problem with this school/District. The school has not been remodeled since it was built in 1950. They only hire the best teachers that Ridley has to offer or available. Not the best teachers that are available everywhere. The last two years the teachers my child had where not experienced in teaching that grade. They are at least 2-3 years behind that grade. The teachers are very sweet and helpful but just do not have the experience they should have. The new principal is great. He is very eager to help and more importantly find a solution. He is trying to make the changes that are very overdue and needed...
