River Hills Country Club

This is a beautiful neighborhood zoned for excellent schools which was why we bought a home here. We have 24 hour manned gates and common areas are well kept with bountiful mature live oak trees and decorative landscaping. I am only sharing the following because if I were a potential home buyer, I would want to know this information. Country/golf club owned by outside operator is failing. Our HOA intends to purchase it and invest several million dollars into it citing it should increase home value. All homeowners will be on the hook for this. Less than 25% of homes in our community are golf club members. At this point, we have very little information regarding details of cost per home or how this will actually work. If you think this is a great investment, this is the neighborhood for you. If you are dubious about buying a portion of golf course along with your home, I would not purchase here at this time.
