it sucks they need to be with another district to much family working there and they will look out for them for sure.Bust them up and you will see the difference.they don't care about every student.

The teachers and staff are wonderful. Both of children have attended this school and done extremely well. The facilities are excellent and class sizes are small. It's a small town school system where everyone looks out for each other. No complaints at all!

I attended this school for all of my middle school years and i can say that most of the teachers are really nice. Batesburg-Leesville is a very small community and most of their teachers live in the area. This made the atmosphere more comforting to students. Some teachers tried to make learning interesting and others could have cared less. Most students never really cared which made their learning experiences less interactive with teachers and other students. This school offers a re-do policy which allows you to do major tests over. This policy sounds rewarding, but in life there are not many do overs. Overall, Batesburg-Leesville Middle was an average school.

Middle School years can be very difficult for many young people. I found the atmosphere at B-L Middle to be very supportive of my two daughters and their needs as they moved through the school system. Both of them had very positive experiences at BLMS and enjoyed the transition time there from elementary to middle to high school.
