Charleston Progressive Academy is excited about being a part of the Stephen Covey Leader In Me(LIM) Schools. We are also a Personalize Mastery school and the two initiatives integrate to be a guiding focus socially, academically, and emotionally for students and staff. 7 Habits of Effective People has changed our school's culture. We have just completed our first year of implementing the Covey and Personalize Mastery Principles. We look forward to our second year of implementing both initiatives and observing how far our students will go!

My 3 daughters have attended CPA since kindergarten. The teachers and staff members all care about their well being as well as their success in school. One of my daughters had difficulty with reading and math. Immediately a teacher was assigned to assist her in comprehension. Also, I love the Saturday School they have to prepare for MAC & PASS testing.

I'm so appreciative of the fact that Charleston Progressive Academy is implementing the Leader in Me program! My four year old comes home proclaiming that she must be proactive and clean up her toys! Imagine that! Additionally, she tells my husband how he must put first things first before he watches sports on T.V. She is definitely receiving a strong foundation we feel in terms of learning these very important life skills in addition to her academics! Hats off to CPA!

I am proud to be an educational family member of Charleston Progressive Academy, and would highly recommend it to any family with high educational expectations for their children. As a fitness and leadership school we strive to set a foundation of high academic standards, and then we put our students in their rightful places as leaders by allowing them to help take responsibility for their education. Technology is a vital part of our environment, but with smaller class sizes, and differentiated instruction we "begin with the end in mind" as we educate our students beyond the 21st century.
