I went to this school for four years of my life and let me tell you they were horrible. This is a small town where everybody knows everybody so its hard to separate school from home. The teachers went here with many of the parents when they were in high school and they've known a lot of the kids their whole life. The teachers are very selective, they pick and choose who will get special treatment. There is no business like behavior among the teachers and students. They make friendships, they give all kinds of awards, good grades and give you high leadership positions in the school to one student and let one them get away with everything such as phone use, ditching class or school, eating and drinking in class but they'll write others up for the same thing. Bullying is something that they get away with on a regular basis, students will gang up on someone and the teachers will ignore it or literally laugh along with them. And one big issue that needs to be changed is gossip. And I don't mean dumb drama between immature teenagers kind of gossip, I mean gossip between the teachers and students. This school has so little morals and ethics that grown adults gossip about children to other children. It creates a toxic learning environment, because the teachers aren't just your teachers they're either your best friend or they're your enemy.

Teachers and administrators work hard to ensure the education of each student. Discipline is strict and rules are enforced. Parents with the complaints usually have the children who break the rules.

There are serious problems with the administration at WSHS. The district doesn't seem to care or is not willing to fix the problems. Really disturbing rumors about the principal are whispered by parents, students and even teachers. Some people say this is where they send their problem administrators to hide them.
