I was born and raised in this county. I have 3 sons and this is the worst school I have ever stepped foot in. I have been to a lot of schools in this county. The way a school treats those with severe disabilities tells you the character of the school. This school allowed my special son to be pushed around in a baby stroller, made him clean pee off the floor, put him in time out in a sped bathroom and he hit his head on a wall and lost a tooth, gave him a ball to play on in sped and neglected him and he lost his two front permanent teeth, his one on one assistant was reported for indecent exposure and touching my son’s private area. The staff called and harassed me to pick up my son over and over. My son has had to go on homebound due to the trauma from this school. If you walk in this school the staff may put on a good show. However, I know what has happened to my son. I would be afraid to let any of my children go to this school.

The teachers at this school are very dedicated. We've also found them to be incredibly approachable and engaged with parents. They have always responded to our questions/concerns. And, they post all assignments and grades on the school's online tool.

Very pleased with school everyone is very courteous & professional. My son started 6th grade this year and it was quite an adjustment coming from elementary school and wish they had made the transition easier because I felt overwhelmed with how much responsibility the parents are required to do compared to 5th grade. I don't understand why elementary, middle, & high schools aren't working together & communicating plans to prepare students & parents for the transition from one school to another as smoothly & efficient as possible. It seems like even though your child is in the same school zone everything is completely different & you are left feeling unprepared.
