Pond Springs has been good for my two kids, and they both love it. We've had mostly good teachers, and some have been amazing! We did have one bad year with a terrible teacher who was replaced by a terrible long-term sub. I was also disappointed that my son didn't have any homework at all in fifth grade. A year with no math homework left him unprepared for middle school math. On the other hand, the school has done an impressive job of accommodating my child who has ADD and reading difficulties. I'm mostly happy with this school and think any child can be successful here as long as the parents are tracking what's going on in the classroom.

Fantastic. I love our school and the sense of community. Kids walk and bike to school. Families are involved. Teachers really get to know the families. It's a wonderful environment.

We lucked into PSE after several years floundering in AISD in a sub-par school (it's a 5 out of 10 on here, so I won't name names.) There, they wanted to test my highly intelligent daughter for ADHD because "smart kids don't get bored." There, she was bullied by students and staff alike. At Pond Springs, my daughter was challenged academically by the gifted and engaged faculty and encouraged to be empathetic, kind and respectful to all those around her. She recently matriculated out of 5th grade, and we've since moved to another school district. I think the most telling thing was, at the 5th Grade graduation, we had several of the teachers seek us out to tell us how great she'd been, how kind and compassionate, how smart and curious. I don't believe this would have happened at our old school. I hope my daughter carries her Pioneer Pride with her always.

Hi What a wonderful event I attended on October 26 at your school! I come from CANADA and visiting my 2 year old grandson Lucas who lives across the street from the school. Hopefully he will attend your school in a couple of years. I am a teacher myself of special needs kids and I never attended such a spectacular event that everyone could easily participate....not one thing was missing!! YOU SHOULD BE PROUD.I know it took a team to organize this. Suzanne Fortin Ontario Canada
