My son is entering the 4th grade at Silver Creek and we have had a pleasant 4 years so far. We love the staff and the amazing Principle Ms. Nelson, they all love and care for the students the way I feel all teachers should. Academically we haven’t had any issues, my son makes good grades and his teachers so far have done well making learning fun and giving tips and tricks to make things easier for him to understand. Thanks to Mrs. Merimon my kid was excited to learn division! We love silver creek and give it a 10/10.

Failed in all aspects I give them a 0/10 The current atmosphere at this school is all smiles when you walk in, but behind that are deep and serious issues that need to be addressed. The children are constantly at risk of injury due to lack of supervision. And academic wise they may seem okay from their test scores but that is because they study with them prior to. The other academic records will show that they are lacking on the learning scale in several different categories for overall education througout the year. They fail when a child with a learning disability is concerned and have issues with poor grades regarding these children. I have had 5 children go through this school and every year it is more and more disheartening and disappointing to witness the downward spiral that is happening. The majority of the teachers just do not have the devotion that is needed for a student's success here. The safety and education should be a top priority and after several instances dealing with them to discuss child academic performance and child safety, they have had a complete lack and disregard resulting in no solutions to these issues. The Principal will choose to make decisions for your child even though you strongly disagree so there is no good relationship when this happens. I addressed the lack of safety and the same issues have been occurring since then leading to more bullying and children being hurt. If you go to the Principal with information in regards to a teacher and rules that she has broken which affect your child, it seems that she will protect the teacher before putting the students and parents desires first. There are a few teachers on staff here if you are lucky enough to get them, but this student progress on the page speaks for itself. I do not recommend sending a child to this school. Never judge a book by its cover because they put up a good front.

Parents are encouraged, informed, and respected. Students are confident, enthusiastic, happy, compassionate, and respectful. Administration and teaching team are loving, compassionate, encouraging, talented, and welcoming individuals. Silver Creek has the best role models for the students. They go above and beyond for all their students.
