Westpark Elementary School

This is our 3rd year with this school. First and second grade teachers were amazing and the speech program was helping my son. Since beginning third grade, the teachers and new speech therapists are not very good at communicating with me. At state required parent teacher meetings they say they are “concerned” regarding my sons understanding of certain subjects yet they never communicate these concerns outside of mandated meetings. I directly asked why no one let me know about their “concerns” before the meeting (3 months into the school year) and they just looked at me and would not say anything. I asked the vice principal to be present and she suggested they communicate with me more frequently in the future. However, they have not done so since our meeting (the meeting was several months ago). If your child requires ANY additional help or services, keep an eye on the grades and teachers otherwise your child may suffer academically.

Wonderful. My boys and I are blessed to have the Westpark teachers and staff in our lives. They have gone above and beyond to work with my boys. Beautiful new building too.
