We are new to the school this year, but it has surpassed my expectations, especially with their thoughtfulness and organization around COVID preparedness. My child loves it at ICE!

Indian Creek Elementary has gone through many changes within the past year. GOOD changes! New administration, some new teachers and staff.. the change has been great for the school. The climate at the school is transformed. I am proud to be a part of Indian Creek Elementary and am excited to see the great things to come for this school and our kids!

I feel with two students in this school, getting a good teacher is a hit and miss from one year to the next. I have an older child who has been here for 3 years and in 2nd grade(the first year) her teacher recommended that a meeting be arranged with the VP and Princ. since she kept forgetting to put a folder in the right spot in the morning routine. This particular teacher was VERY picky the entire year. Luckily my older child has had two decent teachers the following 2 years. The math homework for 4th grade is ridicuouls in which they learn different ways of doing basic math each week with no notes on how to do the work. The kids are clueless and thus leaves parent in the dark on how to assist then when no samples of homework is sent home. For my younger child who has just started in Kinder, he has been referred to the principles office twice. I think no kindergarten student should be referred unless they are physically harming others or are using obscene language, Otherwise the teachers should have more patience with a 5yr old. which has given the perception that his teacher is petty and unrealistic with expectations. This school overall is okay, the do have decent PTA fuctions, but again...the teachers are hit and miss.
