My experience with learning at this school is excellent. The problem with underachievement is the difference that the teachers and students have, and neither care.

Words can't express horrible Cleveland Texas schools. Southside is the worst, teachers, teachers aides are horrible, mean and unfriendly. Baza is the worst mean aide I've seen, but they keep her there on our tax dollars.

I moved to Cleveland last year in 2014 let me just say it was terrible the kids are extremely disrespectful in so are the teachers. They don't care about education they don't care about anything. They suspended me so many times because of dress code. When other girls wore the same exact thing! Nothing but disrespectful uneducated teachers. Don't send your child here! No school at all is better then this one.

I completely hate this school. The teachers are lazy the students are disrespectful and trashy. The cafeteria food sucks. We get a new principal every school year. I've gone to Cleveland my whole school life and had nothing but problems. I'm a senior now and moving to splendora and glad to be out of that mess they call "Cleveland school district". They're really strict with their test scores and class grades. Like, I passed all my classes and they didn't give me my credits. At all. Overall this school is not the greatest. I don't recommend this place to anybody. Some more: the teachers are more worried about what the kids are wearing than their education. They don't really care what the students names are. (I had a teacher my sophomore year call me "hey girl with the green hair" until the last week of school,) the teachers don't really take attendance. They just look around and guess. That's why I "missed" soo much school. The principals slack at their job. They don't take care of business. The only good part in CHS is the JROTC. I was that program for 3 years. Go Sgt and Col !!
