I am an upset parent. I was told today that I'm not allowed to walk my impaired daughter to the front door. It's my right as a parent to walk her to the door. What harm am I causing by walking her? Who am I affecting by doing this? Have I caused some damage to school property? No I have not. I am only doing what my right is and that is walking my daughter to the door. Nothing more nothing less. Plus my daughter was hit 2 times first by a boy then by a girl and I was not informed of this until my 4 year old daughter told me and when I told the teacher she said the kids are just getting to know each other. Then my daughter hit those kids and I get a letter about it!? Very unpleasant situation and hoping for the best.

Our Lil' Armstrong Astros truly Soars! The students have a bright future there. School starts on Monday and this is the last weekend of the Summer Vacation and let me tell you. My daughter is so excited to go back to school and I'm excited for her. She has a speech pathologist that has been working with her and I have seen tremendous amount of educational and social growth in my daughter due to this program available at the school. My daughter's kindergarten teacher last year was Mrs. Williams and she was great! The counselor is big on anti-bullying and she is very informative. Nice lady indeed. Armstrong has embraced her since her Pre-K year and she'll be going to the 1st grade this year. I love it. The staff is awesome. The receptionist is very professional and follows the rules to the T, in which I can appreciate because I can be sure that my child, along with her fellow classmates and the rest of the school will be safe. I believe the faculty truly cares about every student at the school. I'm grateful for their hard work. THANK YOU, ARMSTRONG ELEMENTARY FAMILY!

I am not happy with this school at all. They dont allow you to interact with your child while in school unless you're picking them up and the teachers are really bad about contacting you for anything. My children came from another CISD and we miss it dearly. I feel as though I punish my kids by sending them to Armstrong and not to mention my kids dislike it as well. My daughter also has to deal with bullying and when I told her to tell the teacher she said the teacher told her to stop tattling. I'm beyond frustrated with this school.

This school has change since the last principal in 2008, the bullying intake is high my son and daughter has been pick on, hit, spit on and jumped. My daughter is only in the 2nd grade and my son is in the 4th. I ve reported this to the teacher, counselor, asst. principal, principal, and the board. No action was taken on the bulling part but on my daughter for self-defending herself. I was in tears when my baby said she no longer wants to go to school due to the high bulling and I don t blame her!!!! (As of now, I m trying to moved my children out of that school as soon as possible) I hope and pray that no other child has to go through what my two went through. Jocelyn
