The staff completely turns the other way when it comes to bullying, so sad. Also, there's alot of sex and drugs going on at Peet that's also overlooked. We didn't last 6 months before I pulled my daughter out of that terrible school.

Starting off, we were given incorrect information about the 504 program, so we did not proceed with the program. Once our child was tested, we had the correct information and tried to get back into the program, but no one worked with us until the last week of school. MANY MANY times throughout the year we tried to contact the teachers(Ms Pope is the biggest offender) by emails, phone msgs, letters brought up, as our child was having issues with deadlines (part of the disability) & no one would return calls except for the history teacher. Got in touch with the VP & P & still no word from the teachers. Our child almost failed & I blame the school as they failed to work with us to solve a major issue from the 2nd month of school. My child was also bullied & at 1st it didnt seem like anything would happen to the "problem child", but I am impressed the staff took care of the situation finally when the child was slipping through the cracks of monitoring & getting to my child. At least the counselors stayed on top of the situation until we were satisfied. The school is good, but they have their problems as anyone. Considering the other option in the area, this school is a 10.

Great experience with 7th grade teachers, and the front office they are very helpful and friendly. My daughter loved 7th grade and can't wait for 8th grade. The assistant principal doesn't seem to get things done properly...always passing the concerns to someone else, can't answer direct questions, I saw great involvement with parents with the Theater, band and drill team departments.
