Great teachers, administration, and culture of trying your hardest, and puttIngram a litter extra effort.

They are manipulating core classes to "Teach the Test" to score big on standardizations. No quality; just quality numbers on stats to make admin look good.

The principal at this school is awful. When confronted evidence and an omission of guilt with an unethical teacher he did NOTHING! In addition to the lack of ethics and concerns with the principal's handling of issues, this is a mega school of roughly 4000 kids. The kids are processed like cattle. With so many kids at the school, don't expect any individual attention or support. I don't recommend this school, from the administration to the teachers. AWFUL all the way around!

I'm sure Cy-Woods is an excellent school. I gave it Bad because of my personal experience with trying to communicate with the "Leaders" of the school. I'm still waiting for a call back from last year where I left a message on the after hours recording. I left one his morning as well. Matters that require urgent attention are not dealt with, they are brushed under the rug. I asked the school directly to please call me, her mother, when any calls need to be made regarding her. That has never happened in 2 years. No one other than myself or her father are to make or sign anything pertaining to her.On the plus side, I think the teachers have been very good with her and working hard to help her academically, as she has a learning disability and requires special teaching in some areas.
